| Ash Wednesday – 22nd February is a Day of Fasting and Abstinence. Please note that the morning Mass is at 9.30am (not 9.00am) as the children from St Joseph’s School will be present: and the evening Mass is at 7.00pm Lent Every Monday in Lent (beginning 27th February) we will have Mass at 7.30pm which will include a reflection on how the Passion of Jesus is reflected in our own sufferings. The Passion of Jesus is read in church on Palm Sunday and on Good Friday but there is very little time on those days to look at what is happening and why. The Monday evening Masses (max. 40 minutes) will give us the chance to look more closely at the connection between Jesus and ourselves. Do please consider this weekly Mass as a way of making Lent a time for reflection on our lives. | Download this week's newsletter | Services in St Joseph's this week: Saturday 18th February 6.00pm Reconciliation 6.30pm Vincenza D’Orso Sunday 19th February 7th Sunday of the Year 9.00am Mass: Parishioners of St Joseph’s 10.15am Mass: Kay Robertson, RIP Monday 20th February 8.30am Exposition 9.00am Mass: Special Intention Tuesday 21st February 9.00am Mass: Brian, Catherine & Mervyn McCord Wednesday 22nd February 9.30am Foundation Mass: Canon Beel 7.00pm Parishioners of St Joseph’s Friday 24th February 8.30am Exposition 9.00am Mass: Jenny Gilligan, RIP Saturday 25th February 6.00pm Reconciliation 6.30pm Parishioners of St Joseph’s Sunday 26th February 1st Sunday of Lent 9.00am Mass: Jim Forkin, RIP 10.15am Mass: Bill Furey, RIP |
