The St Joseph’s “Quiet Garden”
The Quiet Garden Movement – Sharing outdoor space for the inner journey
St Joseph’s parish has joined the Quiet Garden Movement. This movement began in the Anglican Church around twenty five years ago. It is based on a rich tradition of contemplative prayer within the Catholic Church going back many centuries.
Here at St Joseph’s we have the facilities of both our beautiful garden and our church which together act as a context and a focus in which to share silence.
Quiet Garden Retreats are an opportunity to spend time in contemplative prayer in our beautiful church and garden giving people time to spend with Jesus. The retreat days this year are as follows. It may be helpful to put them in your diary now.
